Special Diets - Wheat free cooking

At the restaurant and the cookery school one of the most common dietary requirement is wheat free. This is a course specially designed for those who can’t tolerate wheat, for those who cook for someone with these dietary requirements, or for those who are looking for tasty alternatives to wheat.

Wheat free cooking does not have to be restricted to processed “Wheat free” products, it is far tastier and healthier to cook your own dishes from fresh using alternative grains such as quinoa or polenta and finding alternatives for those wheat based favourites such as pasta or pizza.

We will show you many of the different alternatives to wheat, how to source them and how to cook with them. We will make about 12 easy and quick to make dishes, including sweet treats, main dishes and impressive starters. The day will finish with a wheat free feast with organic wines.
