
No time to cook - Festive food
This is a course for those who panic at the prospect of cooking for Christmas. We will show you how to survive and enjoy the festive week, how to prepare enough food in advance, organising a timetable of what to do when, cooking for larger numbers than you normally do. We will make recipes that freeze well, simple recipes that are not over ambitious and food that will last over the whole week.
You will make for example a hearty bean and vegetable ragout with 3 seed bread, a cashew and seed nut roast, tasty mini goats cheese gougeres, pumpkin filo scrunchies, a gooey apple and calvados pudding with sticky toffee sauce, cranberry and dark chocolate biscuits. We will all finish the day with a 3 course Christmas lunch and a selection of organic wines.
