Chateau Ventenac 1

Flavours of the Mediterranean, Cookery Holiday in Southern France

Join the Vegetarian Cookery School for an exciting new culinary break in the beautiful surroundings of Chateau Ventenac, a 19th century stone castle in the Languedoc region of Southern France.
Our five day/four night (thursday to monday) residential course will give you the opportunity to learn seasonal Mediterranean cookery with Rachel Demuth, owner of the award winning Demuth’s Vegetarian Restaurant in Bath, now in its 20th year and Jo Ingleby, experienced chef and cookery tutor.

The course includes four cookery sessions with a combination of hands on cookery and demonstration where we will create delicious Mediterranean meals together using the best seasonal vegetables, local oils and wines. We will visit a local market, visit local producers and have a special wine tasting with Juliet Bruce Jones, Master of Wine.

Surrounded by stunning countryside and the nearby Canal du Midi you will have plenty of time to relax, swim and unwind and, of course, sample the local specialities.

Price
£695 Per person, shared room (Single supplement £160)
Non cooking partners are welcome at a cost of £395 sharing a room. Meals included but not tuition. We will be happy to organise alternative activities such as golf, cycling trips and wine tasting tours.
