World Street Food
This is a course inspired from my travels to India, the Far
East, Morocco and Mexico.
When travelling the most exciting food is found in the street
markets, cooked by locals for locals, cooked in front of you,
piping hot and always a new taste sensation, some better than
others! I have chosen my favourites and recreated them at home.
This is food ideal for parties, as the prerequisite of street food
is that you can eat it as you walk. From India; spicy bonda balls
and samasos, from Laos; spring rolls with a difference, from
Vietnam; bang trang rice paper rolls and steaming hot pho, from
Thailand: banana leaf sticky rice packets and noodle tofu stir-fry,
from Morocco; spinach briouts, from Mexico, corn tortillas with
tequila avocado.
