World Bread Day

Making homemade bread is one of the most rewarding cooking experiences and during this one day course we will look around the World for inspiration to make authentic breads-and dishes to accompany them.

We will make an Italian Foccacia dough and stuffed Stomboli bread with fresh Basil Pesto, Middle Eastern Flatbreads with vibrant dips and salads and create authentic Indian flat breads such as Naan and Chapattis with Tarka Daal and Chana Masala.

On this course we will teach you essential breadmaking techniques and also show you how to use herbs and spices to recreate dishes from around the world. This day will be mainly hands on, you can practice your kneading techniques and learn how to use yeast and also make unleavened breads.

During the day we will eat what we have made and finish the day with a delicious meal, which you will have helped prepare, served with organic wines or fruit juices. At the end of the day you will be given a folder of recipes to take home.

 Cost: £135

 Time: 10.00am - 4.30pm
