Vegan Puddings, Cakes and Treats
Due to popular demand we are filling a whole day with all the sweet stuff-without the dairy! Our vegan cakes and puddings are just as delicious as the dairy versions and we will reveal the secrets of how many of Demuths vegan puddings are made-even our special Rich Dark Chocolate Mousse and Cashew Coconut Cream!
During the day we will cover how to replace eggs and butter in sweet cooking and use special vegan ingredients to make beautiful bakes, cakes and more. We will make sweet pastry and also some savoury tarts to make for lunch (surely we can’t eat cake all day?). You will make approximately 8 different dishes during the day-some to eat during the course and lots to take home in a goodie bag!
The day will be a mixture of demonstration and hands on cookery with lots of tips and techniques from our chefs who have years of experience creating vegan dishes. The day will end with a meal you have helped to make, served with Organic wines or juices, and of course several puddings! You will receive a pack of recipes to take home with you so that you can recreate the dishes at home and goodies to take home.
