Student Survival - Quick & Easy Vegetarian Cookery
This course is aimed at young people who are about to leave home, or those wanting to improve their cookery skills. The day will build confidence and ability in the kitchen and ensure that the participants are equipped for cooking away from home. Packed full of tips and ideas for cooking a balanced and varied vegetarian diet on a budget this course will cover: knife skills, key vegetarian ingredients and how to get the best from them, cookery techniques and lots of ideas for storage, saving time and money.
During the day we will prepare a variety of our favourite dishes from around the World which are bound to impress new house mates! Learn how to make an authentic curry, tasty pasta dishes, stir fries and of course delicious puddings as well as simple ideas for snacks and lunches.
This course is aimed at young people from 16-20 who are keen to learn new skills. No experience is necessary and each participant will receive a Student Survival kit of recipes to take home.
Cost: £75 per person from 10am - 2pm
