No time to cook - Fast and delicious
This is one of our most popular courses offering fast, seasonal and easy to make food.
What we will cook will depend on what is in season and the vegetables we can source locally from our suppliers Eades and Castle Farm.
In Winter, we could make celeriac fritters with caper mayo, quick Goats cheese and leek puff pastry slices, a warming root vegetable stew with dumplings, puy lentil & roasted beetroot salad, and to finish a sticky toffee pudding.
In Spring we could make Irish Soda bread with a broad bean Bissara, Italian Spinach Balls with Salsa verde, an Asparagus frittata or a quick Polenta with Ciambotta,with a Rhubarb fool or a quick over the top chocolate pudding.
The day will include at least ten dishes and will include lots of tasting. The course involves a mixture of demonstrations and hands on cookery in small groups, and is led by our experienced chef tutors who can answer all of your quick cooking questions.
We will also focus on essential and unusual store cupboard ingredients, how to achieve a balanced vegetarian diet and chefs tips to save time and increase your confidence in the kitchen.
We will cook & eat as we go along and finish with a late lunch with organic wine.
