Mushroom Evening Workshop
Autumn is the ideal time to find or buy wild mushrooms and one of the highlights of the foodie year. During this evening course we will show you how to get the best from mushrooms using a selection of wild mushrooms, truffles, dried mushrooms as well as more common varieties. Our tutor Jo Ingleby was lucky enough to win “Mushroom Recipe of the Year” for Carluccios restaurant and she spent a day cooking with Antonio Carluccio and sharing his love of mushrooms.
During the class Jo will teach you how to make her winning recipe of Handmade Herb Ravioli with Chestnuts, Wild Mushrooms and Truffle and Tarragon Butter. We will also make a light Asian Mushroom and Noodle Soup and our favourite Mushroom Bruschetta.
The evening will be a combination of demonstration and hands on cookery-including the chance to make your own fresh pasta. There will be plenty of time to learn tips from our tutors and to share a delicious meal which we will prepare during the class. At the end of the evening you will receive a pack of recipes so that you can recreate the dishes at home.
