Healthy New Year

New Year, new start! We all love the food and feasting of Christmas but now the New Year has arrived it is the perfect time to turn over a new leaf and learn to cook healthy food with the experts! Healthy food doesn’t have to be boring or earnest and on this one day course we will teach you techniques and tips to liven up your cooking and make eating a healthy diet a reality.

One of the easiest ways to improve your diet is to know what to do with pulses, beans, nuts and lentils and we at the cookery school use them with a passion. This day will also include knife skills and how to use herbs and spices to add flavour to make delicious lower fat dishes which will give you energy-as well as giving your taste buds a treat. We will even make a delicious seasonal pudding which is low in calories but high in taste!

If you want to improve your diet-whether you are a vegetarian or want to include more meat free meals in your diet-we can help!

We will cook & eat as we go along and finish with a late lunch with organic wine or fruit juice. You will receive a pack of recipes to take home at the end of the day.
